"CONGRATULATIONS" to ROSCO our MAY 2008 PET OF THE MONTH. Rosco is a purebred long haired Chihuahua born in Florida. Rosco is an extremely pampered pup and enjoys all of it. He dresses up everyday and goes to work with me. My customers love having him visit. I’ve also taken Rosco to visit at a nursing home to brighten up the resident’s day. Rosco can sing a variety of songs and is a star for the camera and loves having his picture taken. Rosco lives with is friend Rusty, another Chihuahua, and they share toys, clothes, treats and all of the attention. About a month ago, Rosco underwent neck surgery to remove debris from a degenerative vertebrae. Rosco is recovering well and has more energy than when he was a puppy. "CONGRATULATIONS" to KARA & BUD our APRIL 2008 PETS OF THE MONTH. This brother and sister pair - Kara (left) and Bud (right) are two wonderful golden retrievers who are best of friends. Bud loves playing Frisbee and Kara loves chasing her brother and just being a nut! We are told that they travel with their owners over hundreds of miles and they do great! They both also love to go to the swimming pool (spa). They are approx 4 months old here. Why are they special? Seriously?.... you can't just see it? Kara and Bud make their home with their family in Dauphin, PA.

"CONGRATULATIONS" to STRANGE MONK our MARCH 2008 PET OF THE MONTH. My name is Strange Monk. Kind of strange, huh? I am a little heeler puppy and I just turned 3 months old. I like to play with my brother dog Alfie and with a Frisbee. My Mom thinks I am special because I have the fattest little belly. I was really lucky because my sister and brother are still waiting to be adopted. Gotta go....it's been a 'ruff' day! I live with my family in Cleveland, VA

We are getting many photo contest entries every month of wonderful cats and dogs. There have been some absolutely beautiful camera work and you are making our job more intense. (Which is good!) It is taking more time, as we look at each entry over and over. Please make sure you read the tips and helps as you take your photos and be sure to include the information as described in #6 of the rules, otherwise your photo will not be eligible.
